To pay $35 for going over $4 is almost 6x profit from that tiny error.There is no reason to pay such a steep amount $10 ok $15 sure but $25+ that is just plain abuse. We use these functions from a bank for the reason of any other person: Its fast to get paid, the fear of carrying cash, and the convenience of online purchases which are all the top reasons for even using a bank. In some cases to resolve this you may terminate your contract with a bank and go straight to check cashing but if you have fear of carrying cash due to the "mugging" rate in these hard times you may be held back from this action. There is another solution that some people have reverted to is a prepaid card which you pay a monthly $5 fee (more or less) and you will never overdraft, and some companies will wave that $5 fee if you set up direct deposit but please read all fine print due to may have extra stipulations you may find inconvenient. Or some bank branches do offer you the opportunity to pay what you over drafted to the end of the day without charging you the fee. While exploring all of these concepts I have still not come upon the answer of, why do they charge so much for the overdraft fee? Its does not involve a committee meeting and huttle for a 3 day deliberation to come in to a verdict if to accept your payment, for you to have to pay them a 1/2 a days work of your pay to continue services with them. I think that if you pay them what is owed plus $10 it should be fine for them because that will not be the last mistake in the human existence that will ever be made. Oh and before I forget please remember dont let then keep you sucked in a horrible contract with the famous line " Your information is all ways secure on our end" because some how on this forsaken earth you may be the most HIPAA compliant individual but some scum of the earth will figure out on how to obtain bank account information unless you have life lock that can stop it but nonetheless they obtained it. So people please do your research it will save you. Oh and if anyone has the one answer to my question please let me know .

Your battery must measure more than 9.6 Volts across the battery terminals WHILE the engine is being cranked over in order to power the computer, fuel pump, sensors etc. If your battery is over 4 or 5 years old, you need a new one regardless of any other reason your engine won't start. Your battery cables need to be disconnected and cleaned inside the metal contacts with a battery wire brush when you install the new battery.

Last winter I noticed my car taking longer to heat up, on my way to school upon getting on the highway and upping my speed the heat would kick in. Not too mention a jump in the car's temperature rising and then going back to normal. This summer I noticed my air would get warm and I'd look down to my temperature and it would be almost to the H. If I start to watch the temperature, I'll brake and it'll rise, I'll accelerate and it'll cool down. After this happening again it did the opposite, cool down when braking... Vise Versa. Any ideas? Seems as though the car temperature will fluctuate within seconds.

I know Saturn is a gas giant so you probably couldn't see anything if you were standing on the surface (assuming you could survive the gravity). But, for the sake of argument and gee-whiz sci-fi wonder... if Saturn had a solid surface, what would it be like to look up at the night sky? Obviously the rings would be the most prominent feature. Parts of the rings are translucent while others are very dense, so that would look cool at night. Backlit rings would be even cooler (Google image search “Saturn eclipse”!) They'd be very very bright and take up a large chunk of the night sky, and probably light up everything on Saturn to such an extent that you wouldn't need artificial lighting. In fact, I predict the rings would be so bright at night that your pupils would contract so much that you wouldn't see any stars (same reason there are no stars in NASA photos of the moon landings). So to make a long story short, I have two cars. A '94 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera that's taking up space, and a '99 Eclipse GS. Question regarding what I could only call a "Lifetime Deed"?

My grandparent's moved out of their home about 5 years back due to failing health. An acquaintance of the family began visiting them alot. She was having problems with her deceased husband's children regarding the home she was living in at the time. Out of the goodness of his heart my grandfather offered to let her live in their empty home, rent/mortgage free, for the rest of her life if she would help by sitting with and being a general caretaker for my grandmother and himself. My grandmother has since passed, but the woman only spent about 6 months helping, after that she flat out refuses to help. I do not have the "deed" in question in my hands now, but will in a few weeks. I do know that my grandfather trusted her and didn't feel it necessary to put the caretaker/caregiver stipulation into the contract he had drawn up, so in effect that part is only verbal, but it's well known between us and our family. She's also made mention at gatherings and such before to that affect as well on many occasions (showing gratefulness for allowing use of the home for her life in exchange for her caretaking services). It was only signed by the lawyers, himself and herself, even though my mother had at the time and still has power of attorney of my grandfather. My parents cannot get her to help at all with my grandfather, who we've since found out has Alzthimers(sp). She now has a boyfriend who she moved into the house. My parents informed her that he would have to pay rent/mortgage. She got angry and refused, but took her copy of the agreement to her laywer in hopes she'd be in the right, but her lawyer sided with my parents, telling her the agreement was for her and her alone, and anyone else living in the house would have to pay rent. My parents have only (verbally) told them he had to pay $200 a month, which I find crazy because rent for a house in that area is minimum $800 a month, (which would make him responsible for $400). I told them when I found out that they should have a lease drawn up and up his rent. Anyway, after her being angry with them for doing that, as well as her constant demands on my family to make improvements and upgrades to the house (none necessary, all asthetic) she's since gone and changed all the locks in the home. She swears up and down that there never was an agreement for her to help care for my grandparents. The home is still in my grandfather's name. What happens when he passes away and it gets put in my Father and Uncle's names, and eventually passed on to myself, my brother and my cousin. Is that agreement(contract) null and void? Just seems to me that legally a new property owner can't be forced to uphold an agreement, contractual or not, that was made with the previous owner. At the very least seems to me that when he passes my parents could draw up a new agreement. I know they couldn't legally evict her, but seems to me that just like when a rental property changes ownership and a new lease has to be drawn up, this is the same. Ideally if they do draw up paperwork stating she would now be responsible for paying "rent" (as the house is paid off w/ no mortgage), and she refuses, can they did ask her to leave? Also, since the house isn't in her name and she's only being "allowed" to live there and changed locks without the owner's knowledge or ok....does that make that agreement null and void??? Thanks!

My lifestyle I sit in a recliner chair with a computer and let the time pass. Yet what gives anyone the right to judge what is right or wrong if it's in my own home? Yet there are so many laws and stipulations that nothing you can do can go with out judgement. Thus when these judgements are pushed upon me in the form of laws. Only more rage develops as now my own freedom of sitting alone, in my own home is being invaded upon. Sense of pleasure for me comes in sense of learning something new. Science is a very int resting topic and seeing and learning is 'Real'. Foreign Mechanic help?

today i was trying to switch head units in my 87 mercedes 260e and i noticed all the wires where covered in some kind of fluid. i think his is the reason why my eclipse head unit pretty much crapped the bed. Over the last year and half it would only play cds every now and then and since yesterday it would not play any music or radio what so ever. today i tried to see what it would do and it was flashing not letting me turn on or do anything just the screen flashing with all the buttons. I pulled the head unit to replace with a different head unit and noticed the whole top of eclipse had some kind of fluid cant tell a color. It a way it smells kinda sweet and sometimes while i drive i smell a sweet burning smell. I recently had the head gasket replaced and was told my radiator is clogged to flush or replace cause there might be a bad transmission cooler. The car only heats up when i come to lights or stop but while driving it seems to be doing fine. does anyone have any ideas what could be leaking and would it not be safe to put a new one in the time being? also one last note the last couple years i only had volume on the front speakers and could not hear any from the rear would this have something to do with the fluid? any help would be greatly appreciated

Attrite and Rewrite? (Navy)?

I joined the Navy DEP in pursuit of a Challenge contract. The only way to get a challenge contract is to DEP into the Navy and choose a rate and then you meet with a Motivator/Mentor who will administer the PST and evaluate you to determine whether or not to grant you a Challenge contract. To this point, I have been unsuccessful in meeting the requirements on the running portion of the PST due to shin splints caused by my own lack of running knowledge. I tried pushing too far/too quickly and have payed the price but am recovering and feel I have learned a valuable lesson. My recruiter told me I do not have enough time left in DEP to get a Challenge contract anymore and that my best option to get into the training pipeline of the rate I am after would be to just go to RTC with the rate I signed up for and go to A school and eventually try and request orders to my desired ratings pipeline. If thats my only option, then so be it. But an alternative has been mentioned to me by a few others to try and Attrite and Re-write due to the fact that I don't want to do the rating I am signed up for (the only reason I signed for the rate was because the system in place calls for a recruit to sign for any rate and DEP in before an opportunity to get a challenge contract). They said the chances of getting into the pipeline I want once I am already doing another job is very slim because there are so many people joining the Navy now. So i guess my question is, before I bring this up to my recruiter, is an attrite and re-write something they actually do to buy more time? Especially nowadays with recruiting numbers the way they are? Thanks for any help or knowledge yall can share.

So much so that tje computer can't compensate, and is throwing an o2 code. Check for vacuum leaks, check your TPS, plug wires, MAP sensor, ect.

Winter Cheerleading Uniform Help Needed?

I am the coach for our local high school cheerleading squad, the coaches and I have gotten together to rewrite the uniform policy. Right now the winter uniform allows very little winter weather clothing, starting this year we are going to be giving fleece pullovers as well as fur lined jackets for the very cold winter months. We are stuck on the headwear portion, I was a cheerleader in high school and we wore earmuffs. Disconnecting the battery is not a bad plan. Minor power drains can kill a battery over an extended period. If you are going to have a friend start it up, they need to drive it for 15-20 minutes. When you crank a car for a short period, water builds up in the system and does not go away until the engine runs at a normal temp for about 5 minutes. What to do to fix up an old car?

So to make a long story short, I have two cars. A '94 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera that's taking up space, and a '99 Eclipse GS. Just the caliper paint, and clean calipers and drums (or new drums, if they're close to needing changing anyway) for the best results, a primer won't work. I'd recommend paint rather than a spray can as it's far easier to get it exactly where you want it, and only where you want it. So, I'm home schooled and have to sit on the computer for hours each day finishing assignments... It gets pretty depressing sitting in this little space all day and I miss writing in a book or on paper. Simply having the assignment in front of me to write on. I was thinking about printing all the assignments out so I could write the answers down and then rewrite them on the computer once I've finished. But..that's going to take a lot of paper and ink. Mitsubishi A/C Heater Problems?

There is no such thing as AC coolant. There is engine coolant, which the heater core uses to heat the cabin. The AC uses a compressed gas (freon). It's essentially the same type of set up as you have in your refrigerator at home. There is no way to "check" it. My guess without looking at your car though would be the blend door since you have neither heat, nor AC. The blend door controls how much air comes from outside, or flows through the heater core, or AC evaporator. It's how you adjust the temperature. This could be a problem with the control itself, a leaking vacuum line (it's a vacuum operated system), a faulty actuator on the door, or something wrong with the door itself.

My car exhaust pipe clogged?

So after i got my transmission fixed i didn't notice that my car (2001 Mitsubishi eclipse gt) sounded and felt less powerful in acceleration then previously. I noticed it when i was driving home from my first day of work accelerating to 60 on the freeway, and it was really really slow. When i got near my house i parked and did a 0-60 test and i swore I heard my exhaust snort out something like a booger, and now all of a sudden it has this loud powerful and acceleration noise to it, and it accelerates a lot faster. I was wondering if this is bad or now it's nothing to worry about.

I would DEFINITELY definitely recommend School Rumble. The romance and comedy balance in School Rumble is absolutely amazing. Read the manga for the third season after watching it however, to grasp a better understanding of the plot and characters. The third season had to be cut short due to budget. Also definitely finish up Clannad because it definitely focuses on romance, comedy, and slice of life. I also would recommend Lucky Star, Kanon, Code Geass, Minami-ke, Ōkami-san, Amagami SS, etc. Also, NEVER read the plot synposis of an anime series on wikipedia BEFORE watching the anime because it will spoil the whole plot. Basic Child Visitation and Communication rights?

Me Ex-Fiance and I had a huge court battle over our children when we split two years ago. The ultimate resolution was that we signed a Joint Stipulation which stated she could take the kids to MO and that I would get the basics, pay CS, and get summer visitation. Well she hasn't allowed me my summer visitation in two years and now even wont allow me basic communication and such. She's at the point now where she says if I keep calling trying to contact the kids she will prosecute me for harrasment and have a resraining order placed on me. Aren't I automatically granted some basic rights, such as contacting my kids and whatnot, and furthermore what can I do to FORCE her to follow the court order to allow me visitation. I've called EVERYONE and no one will give me this ever precious "legal advice". I even called the cops to ask what constitutes harassment, so that i don't step over the line and they wouldn't even tell me. Please, someone help me, all I want is to be in my kids lives and be a father to them.
