In paintball can you wear a 2011 eclipse distortion jersey with another make of pants?

I don't think there are official rules stating you have to wear anything specific. If I recall, paintball pants are padded to avoid scrapes from sliding and stings from paintballs, but that's it. You could wear shorts if you wanted.
