Can anybody name an actual benefit to having kids?
Why is it that seemingly all girls/women think they are destined and desire to have kids when it looks like an absolutely horrible decision on paper. If you have two kids and raise them to 18 your expected costs are slightly over $500,000 (plus a plethora of other restrictions on your life). If I offered a half million dollar check to many couples considering children under the stipulation that they promise not to do so; I guarantee that many people would take it. Not only this, but having kids ruins the mother's career and then the father is typically supposed to work full time so he can support three helpless dependents who do nothing for society. A father that can successfully support 4 people would be better off supporting just himself and driving a Ferrari. Regardless of anybody's thoughts on selfishness, the monetary loss is undeniable. Kids are a burden on everyone in society and only act as consumers in the grand scheme of things. So tell me parents, are there actually any LOGICAL reasons to have kids in today's society? I don't need any bullshit of how you think they're cute. Also why is it socially allowed for women to leave men because of differences on children preferences when it would be a societal shame and abnormality for a man to leave a woman because she wants kids? Double standard? I think so.
