Mitsubishi eclipse blitz body kit question?

okay, so i have a blitz body kit for my 2G mitsubishi eclipse. its on the side skirts. i have no idea on where to begin. i have the stock one, too. but where do i even begin for this? do i leave the stock piece on? take that 1 off? how do i get it up there and keep it there?
