Sounds like you are not a dependent. The ONLY way to "correct" this is to have your parents amend THEIR tax returns and pay back the government for every dime that they received on your behalf. Then you would have to amend your. FYI...not paying a small $320 tax debt when you make $18k and live at home is a VERY good way to get into tax trouble early in life. The whole 'budget" excuse does not go over well with the IRS....just letting you know.
