Bottom/ algae eaters (need help choosing).?

I would definitely go with otos. They are less likely to actively seek out the eggs than a pleco and they have such delicate mouths that they won't hurt your plants. I had some in a planted tank (sadly they didn't make it past that critical first month) and my plants were fine. :)
