Opinion on abortion stipulations?

If abortion were outlawed all together, should there be certain stipulations such as rape that still allowed it? In a discussion we were so dead set on the decision that abortion should be illegal altogether, but someone brought up the case of where a teenager got pregnant after being raped by her own biological father...just out of curiosity on other people's opinions, does the harm that would be caused by having a baby from rape (especially rape by a relative) outweigh the harm of the abortion?
